Initial appearances Chase P. Campbell, 37, Luck, pleaded not guilty and posted a $10,000 signature bond June 1 on misdemeanor bail jumping and disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charges. A status conference is slated for 10:30 a.m. July 12.

Jeremy Marcus Clifton, 33, Maplewood, Minn., failed to make a June 6 initial appearance on an operate without valid license (second within three years) charge. A bench warrant was issued.

Ashley Mary Craver, 35, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond June 7 on operating while revoked (alcohol related) and ignition interlock device tampering/failure to install/violate court order charges. A status conference is set for 11:15 a.m. July 11.

Kathy Joanne Deusterman, 35, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond on ignition interlock device tampering/ failure to install/violate court order and operating while revoked (alcohol related) charges June 6. A status conference is scheduled for 2 p.m. July 11.

Mario Joseph Ebert, 21, Prescott, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond on a disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charge June 2. A pre-trial conference is slated for 10:15 a.m. June 27.

Amanda Ashley Hei, 24, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond June 6 on an operating while revoked charge. A status conference is set for 11:30 a.m. July 12.

Joel Thomas Hunt, 24, River Falls, was ordered to pay $500 cash bail June 6 on felony strangulation and suffocation (domestic abuse), battery (domestic abuse), intimidate victim/dissuade reporting, criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) and four misdemeanor bail jumping charges. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. June 21.

Gail Louise Jay, 57, Prescott, pleaded not guilty and posted a $2,500 signature bond on OWI-third, operating with PAC-third and criminal damage to property charges. A status conference is slated for 11:15 a.m. July 12.

Michael Kevin Jones, 53, Brooklyn Center, Minn., posted a $10,000 signature bond June 6 on felony second-degree recklessly endangering safety, felony vehicle operator flee/elude officer, resisting or obstructing an officer, posses sion of cocaine/coca and possession of THC charges. A status conference is set for 2:30 p.m. June 24.

Matthew James Kvaal, 39, New Richmond, failed to make a June 6 initial appearance on an operating while revoked (alcohol related) charge. A bench warrant was issued.

Patrice Carole Letexier, 56, Red Wing, Minn., pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond June 6 on an operating while revoked (alcohol related) charge. A status conference is slated for 1:45 p.m. July 11.

Peter Jeurey Manuche Olson, 19, Red Wing, Minn., pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond June 6 on an operating while revoked (alcohol related) charge. A status conference is set for 1:30 p.m. July 11.

Rosa A. Paqui-Minga, 29, Hudson, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond June 6 on an operate without valid license (third within three years) charge. A status conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. July 14.

Serena Jo Radinzel, 32, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond June 6 on two operating without valid license (second within three years) and two misdemeanor bail jumping charges. A status conference is slated for 11 a.m. July 12.

Francisco Miranda Rivera, 28, Red Wing, Minn., pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond June 6 on an operating while revoked (alcohol related) charge. A status conference is set for 9 a.m. July 14.

Miguel Sanchez Favela, 46, Ellsworth, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond June 6 on an operating while revoked (alcohol related) charge. A status conference is scheduled for 9 a.m. July 14.

Michael Jon Schouten, 35, River Falls, failed to make an initial court appearance June 6 on felony possession of THC (second+ offense) and possess drug paraphernalia. A new initial appearance date was set for 9:30 a.m. June 13.

Closed cases Nicole Ann Gans, 29, River Falls, was convicted of felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possess amphetamine – with intent, and OWI-second June 3, sentenced to five years’ probation and five days in jail, fined $2,591, ordered to pay $179.90 in restitution, ordered to undergo an alcohol assessment and to install an ignition interlock device after a 12-month driver’s license revocation. Contempt of court – disobey order, felony possess firearm – convicted of felony, criminal damage to property, felony possession of methamphetamine, operate with restricted controlled substance (second), nine felony bail jumping, three possession of THC, seven possess drug paraphernalia, and 14 misdemeanor bail jumping charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents July 24, 2019; March 11, 2020; April 16, 2020; April 28, 2020; June 2, 2020; Oct. 28, 2020; and April 20 and 24, 2022.

Timothy J. Hirchert, 32, Hibbing, Minn., was convicted of felony possession of narcotic drugs June 2, sentenced to three years’ probation and fined $518. The charge stemmed from a Jan. 15, 2018 incident.

Rachel Elizabeth Hutcheson, 23, Prescott, was convicted of take/drive vehicle without consent – abandon vehicle June 6, sentenced to 67 days in jail (time served) and fined $443. A felony burglary – building/dwelling charge was dismissed. The charges resulted from a June 19, 2021 incident.

Gregory Jude Konieczka, 59, River Falls, was convicted of battery, sentenced to one year’s probation, ordered to undergo a domestic violence assessment and fined $443 June 2. Misdemeanor bail jumping and disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charges were dismissed. The charges stemmed from a Nov. 11, 2021 incident.

Manuel Antonion Moctezuma, 41, Clayton, was convicted of operate without carrying a license and fined $150.10 June 3. The charge resulted from a Jan. 24 traffic stop.

An operate without valid license (third within three years) charge against Sonyia Marie Placencia, 29, Prescott, was dismissed June 6. The charge stemmed from a Dec. 5, 2019 traffic stop.

Jedidiah Michael Reichert, 28, River Falls, was convicted of OWI-second and operating while revoked (alcohol related), sentenced to 10 days in jail, fined $1,872, and ordered to undergo an alcohol assessment and install an ignition interlock device after a 12-month driver’s license revocation June 6. Operating with PAC – second, resisting/ failing to stop and possess drug paraphernalia charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from an Oct. 30, 2020 traffic stop.

Joshua Michael Roesler,43, Ellsworth, was convicted of operating while revoked (alcohol related) and fined $443 June 2. Two other operating while revoked charges were dismissed. The charges stemmed from traffic stops Nov. 12, Dec. 6 and Dec. 24, 2019.

Cory Levan Tyson, 24, Rochester, Minn., was convicted of disorderly conduct and fined $443 June 2. Battery, disorderly conduct and misdemeanor bail jumping charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents Dec.25, 2021 and Jan. 23, 2022.

Deferred cases Zahvier Wakil Acosta, 24, Red Wing, Minn., pleaded guilty to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a felony substantial battery – intend bodily harm charge June 1. The charge stemmed from a May 15, 2021 incident.

Nicole Ann Gans, 29, Ellsworth, pleaded guilty to and entered into deferred judgment of conviction agreements on three felony possession of methamphetamine charges June 6. Possess drug paraphernalia, possession of THC, six felony bail jumping, two operating while revoked (alcohol related) and 15 misdemeanor bail jumping charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents March 22, 2020 and June 1 and 28, 2020.

Melissa Ann Johnson, 31, Stillwater, Minn., pleaded guilty to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a felony possession of methamphetamine (as part to a crime) charge June 3. A possess drug paraphernalia charge was dismissed. The charges stemmed from a June 10, 2021 incident.

Brent Edward King, 18, Beldenville, pleaded guilty to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a resisting or obstruct- ing an officer charge June 1. The charge resulted from a Sept. 3 incident.

Sonyia Maria Placencia, 29, Prescott, pleaded guilty to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on an operate without valid license (third within three years) charge June 6. The charge stemmed from a Sept. 13 traffic stop.
