Initial appearances Bradley J. Bergen, 34, Eagan, Minn., failed to make an initial appearance Feb. 14 on resisting or obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct charges. A bench warrant was issued.

Isaac John Brzeczek, 42, Ellsworth, pleaded not guilty and was ordered to pay $150 cash bail on a disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charge Feb. 14. A pre-trial conference is set for 11:30 a.m. April 18.

Erik Jacob Christensen,

26, Prescott, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond Feb. 15 on three misdemeanor bail jumping charges. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. April 19.

Joshua Brantley Gard,

30, Bay City, posted a $1,000 signature bond on a disorderly conduct charge Feb. 14. A pretrial conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. March 17.

Jeremy W. Hetrick, 39, Hager City, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond on three possess drug paraphernalia charges Feb. 14. A pre-trial conference is slated for 1:15 p.m. March 28.

Randall Brent Johnson,

54, River Falls, posted a $5,000 signature bond Feb. 11 on felony bail jumping and disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charges. A status conference is set for 11:30 a.m. March 8.

Jared Albert Jones, 35, Boyceville, pleaded not guilty and posted a $5,000 signature bond Feb. 9 on unlawful phone use – threatens harm and four misdemeanor bail jumping charges. A court hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. May 13.

23, Ellsworth, posted a $10,000 signature bond Feb. 14 on a felony vehicle operator flee/elude officer charge. A preliminary hearing is slated for 1:30 p.m. March 18.

Isaac Paul Kauffmann,

31, Ellsworth, posted a $5,000 signature bond Feb. 14 on felony intimidate victim/domestic abuse crime (repeater) and domestic disorderly conduct (repeater) charges. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. March 18.

Leah Marie Lee, 39, Ellsworth, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond Feb. 14 on a disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 10 a.m. April 14.

Jeanie Marie Packer, 50, Somerset, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond on a theft – movable property charge Feb. 15. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. April 18.

Johnathon Chase Pavelski, 20, Eau Claire, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond on an operating while revoked (alcohol related) charge Feb. 14. A pretrial conference is slated for 1:45 p.m. March 28.

Thomas J. Polski, 31, Eau Claire, posted a $10,000 signature bond Feb. 14 on felony theft – movable property (as party to a crime), felony attempt drive or operate vehicle without consent (as party to a crime) and criminal damage to property (as party to a crime) charges. A status conference is scheduled for 2 p.m. March 28.

Robert Paul Romportl,

39, Mondovi, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond Feb. 14 on a theft – movable property charge. A pre-trial conference is slated for 1 p.m. April 25.

Tiffany Anasthia Russell,

33, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond on possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia charges Feb. 14. A pre-trial conference is set for 10:30 a.m. April 18.

Jeremy J. Schoenick, 27, Hudson, pleaded not guilty and posted a $5,000 signature bond Feb. 14 on a misdemeanor bail jumping charge. A pre-trial conference is slated for 10:30 a.m. Feb. 22.

Lucas Scott Thompson,

25, Prescott, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond on an operating while revoked (alcohol related) charge Feb. 14. A pretrial conference is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. April 27.

Takye Malik Wade-Jackson, 22, St. Paul, posted a $2,500 signature bond Feb. 14 on felony resist officer – substantial bodily harm/soft tissue injury, battery (domestic abuse) and disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charges. A preliminary hearing is slated for 1 p.m. April 7.

Jodi Ann Westphal, 48, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond Feb. 11 on a disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charge. A status conference is set for 1:15 p.m. March 17.

Closed cases

Two issue of worthless checks charges against Jeremy John Ammerman, 43, last known address of Hopkins, Minn., were dismissed Feb. 9. The charges resulted from incidents May 24 and 27, 2003.

Resisting or obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct charges against Benjamin Vincent Carlson, 38, Bloomington, Ill., were dismissed before a Feb. 9 initial appearance. The charges stemmed from a July 15, 2006 incident.

A disorderly conduct charge against Steven F. Cobian, 67, Minneapolis, was dismissed Feb. 15 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge resulted from a June 28, 2019 incident.

Two disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charges against Maria Evelyn Ingersoll, 27, Ellsworth, were dismissed Feb. 9 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charges stemmed from incidents May 4 and 29, 2020.

Theft -movable property and resisting or obstructing an officer charges against Frank Judkins, 64, Dayton, Ohio, were dismissed Feb. 9. The charges resulted from a Sept. 24, 2005 incident.

Jamie Lee Kasel, 38, Baldwin, was sentenced to 90 days in jail (50 days credit) at a Feb. 9 sentencing/probation revocation hearing. She had been convicted of disorderly conduct on May 11, 2020 and sentenced to one year’s probation. The charge stemmed from an April 30, 2018 incident.

A battery charge against Chad M. Nelson, 51, last known address of Oelwein, Iowa, was dismissed Feb. 9. The charge resulted from a Sept. 13, 2005 incident.

Troy James Neugent, 38, Buffalo, Minn., was sentenced to 13 months and 19 days in prison (time served) and two years’ extended supervision at a probation revocation hearing Feb. 10. He was also ordered to pay $3,410.65 in unpaid court costs and restitution. Neugent had been convicted of felony substantial battery – intend bodily harm and battery on Nov. 5, 2019 and sentenced to probation, which was revoked. The charges stemmed from incidents Oct. 13 and Dec. 22, 2018.

An issue of worthless checks charge against Alfredo Perez Pena, 69, Red Wing, Minn., was dismissed Feb. 9. The charge resulted from a Sept. 4, 2005 incident.

Three fraud on innkeeper – nonpayment and three misdemeanor bail jumping charges against Timothy Todd Roach, 53, River Falls, were dismissed Feb. 11. The charges stemmed from incidents June 13-14, 2003.

A trespassing on railroad charge against Nicholas Eric Thayer, 39, Pensacola, Fla., was dismissed before initial appearance Feb. 10. The charge resulted from a July 29, 2006 incident.

Deferred prosecution Marie Ann Hase, 39, Red Wing, Minn., pleaded guilty to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement Feb. 10 on a felony possession of methamphetamine charge. Felony bail jumping and possess drug paraphernalia charges were dismissed. The charges stemmed from an Oct. 10 incident.
