Initial appearances

An arrest warrant was issued for Matthew R. Bambery, 31, Arden Hills, Minn., after a missed initial appearance Dec. 13. Bambery is charged with felony theft – movable property (as party to a crime), felony attempt drive or operate vehicle without consent (as party to a crime) and criminal damage to property (as party to a crime).

Bradley Dean Blanchard,

25, Osceola, posted a $2,500 signature bond Dec. 13 on a felony take and drive vehicle without consent charge. A preliminary hearing is slated for 1 p.m. Jan. 27.

Manuel Ignacio Contento Lapo, 33, Baldwin, failed to make an initial appearance Dec. 13 on OWI-second, operating with PAC-second and two misdemeanor bail jumping charges. A warrant was issued but stayed; an initial appearance/ return on warrant was scheduled for 11 a.m. Dec. 15.

Kenneth Bertram Pechacek Diercks, 53, Hager City, posted a $25,000 signature bond Dec. 13 on felony bail jumping, felony OWI (fifth or sixth) and operating while revoked (alcohol related) charges. A preliminary hearing is set for 2:30 p.m. Jan. 18.

Alex Danilo Gonzalez, 24, Prescott, posted a $500 signature bond Dec. 13 on an operating without valid license (second within three years) charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. Jan. 13.

Jacob David Hoffman, 20, Hudson, posted a $500 signature bond Dec. 13 on an operating while revoked (alcohol related) charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 11:45 a.m. Jan. 13.

Jennifer Lynne Javner,

31, River Falls, posted a $1,000 signature bond on an operating while revoked (alcohol related) charge Dec. 10. A plea hearing was set for 1:15 p.m. Dec. 14.

A bench warrant was issued for Toni Marie Mendez, 53, Saint Louis Park, Minn., after a missed court appearance Dec. 8. She is charged with felony theft – movable property and criminal damage to property.

Sherry C. Olson, 40, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $2,500 signature bond Dec. 10 on a disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charge. A pre-trial conference is slated for 11:30 a.m. Jan. 18.

An arrest warrant was issued for Thomas Robert Cody O’Shea, 33, Prescott, after a missed initial appearance Dec. 13 on an operate without valid license (second within three years) charge.

Michael R. Paulson, 37, Ellsworth, pleaded not guilty and posted a $10,000 signature bond Dec. 13 on criminal damage to property (domestic abuse), disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) and criminal trespass to dwelling (domestic abuse) charges. A pre-trial conference is set for 10 a.m. Jan. 20.

Travis M. Petroske, 17, Ellsworth, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond on misdemeanor bail jumping and disorderly conduct charges Dec. 13. A status conference is set for 4 p.m. Jan. 18.

An arrest warrant was issued for Jeffrey Martin Rowe, 52, Trade Lake, after a missed initial appearance Dec. 13. Bambery is charged with felony burglary – building/dwelling (as party to a crime), felony possess firearm – convicted of a felony, felony manufacture/deliver THC, possess drug paraphernalia, resisting or obstructing an officer and criminal damage to property (as party to a crime).

Chad Lee Sutton, 39, East Bethel, Minn., posted a $5,000 signature bond Dec. 13 on felony substantial battery – intend bodily harm, battery and disorderly conduct charges. A preliminary hearing is slated for 10 a.m. Feb. 15.

Closed cases

A felony theft – business setting – special facts charge against Richard L. Anderson, 49, Ellsworth, was dismissed Dec. 13 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge resulted from a Sept. 8, 2012 incident.

Kevin J. Arndt, 38, Minneapolis, was convicted of felony forgery – uttering, sentenced to one year’s probation, fined $518 and ordered to pay $394.08 in restitution Dec. 8. The charge stemmed from a Feb. 5, 2018 incident.

Selvin Orlando Carranza-Guerra, 23, Pleasant Grove, Utah, was convicted of operate without valid license (second within three years) Dec. 8 and fined $443. The charge resulted from a May 17 traffic stop.

Tyson J. Elman, 23, West Palm Beach, Fla., was sentenced to two years’ probation and ordered to pay $518 in court costs after a deferred judgment of conviction agreement was revoked Dec. 8. Elman had pled guilty to felony possession of methamphetamine and entered into the agreement Dec. 1, 2020. The charge stemmed from an Oct. 22, 2019 incident.

A deferred judgment of conviction agreement for Malik Lincoln Hilton, 24, Rochester, Minn., on a felony battery or threat to judge, law enforcement officer or prosecutor was revoked Dec. 13 after a failed appearance. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Jan. 19.

Kaitlyn Lynda Indridason, 27, St. Paul, was convicted of neglecting a child (specified harm did not occur), sentenced to two years’ probation and fined $444 Dec. 9. She was also convicted of theft – movable property and possession of controlled substance, sentenced to two years’ probation (concurrent) and fined $886. The charges resulted from incidents Oct. 1, 2018 and Jan. 9, 2020.

Randy A. Knight, 42, Inver Grove Heights, Minn., waived extradition to Dakota County, Minn., on Dec. 9.

Deltyn Le Lincoln, 26, Hager City, was convicted of operating while revoked (alcohol related), sentenced to one year’s probation and fined $443 Dec. 8. The charge stemmed from a March 21 traffic stop. Lincoln also pleaded guilty to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a felony neglecting a child (no harm and child under 6 or disability) charge. The charge resulted from a Sept. 15, 2020 incident.

Felony attempt manufacture/ deliver THC and resisting or obstructing an officer charges against Aikan Robert Major, 26, St. Paul, were dismissed Dec. 14. The charges resulted from a Nov. 2 incident.

Melissa Ann Remington,

40, Prescott, was convicted of operate without carrying a license and fined $277.80 Dec. 8. The charge stemmed from a March 23 incident.

Hunter Alton Francis Robertson, 22, Spring Valley, was convicted of operate without carrying a license and fined $150.10 Dec. 13. The charge resulted from an Oct. 15 traffic stop.

Adrianne Lynn Sampson,

38, Cottage Grove, Minn., was convicted of disorderly conduct and fined $443 Dec. 8. A resisting or obstructing an officer charge was dismissed. The charges stemmed from a May 29, incident.

Benjamin Charles Souster, 49, Plum City, was convicted of two operating while revoked (alcohol related) charges Dec. 13, sentenced to 10 days in jail and fined $886. Five misdemeanor bail jumping and two operating while revoked (alcohol related) charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents Jan. 8, Feb. 23, Aug. 18 and Dec. 2.
