Initial appearances Wesley Emil Alwin, 30, New Richmond, was ordered to pay $5,000 cash bond on misdemeanor bail jumping, disorderly conduct, contempt of court/misconduct in court, two felony bail jumping and two felony battery or threat to judge, prosecutor or law enforcement officer charges Dec. 3. He was also ordered to pay $5,000 cash bond on eight felony bail jumping charges in a separate case. A preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. Jan. 6.

Jasmine Lyn Aune, 22, Boyceville, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond on an operate without valid license (second within three years) charge Dec. 6. A pre-trial conference is slated for 11 a.m. Jan. 13.

Nicole Margaret Benda,

40, Red Wing, Minn., posted a $10,000 signature bond Dec. 6 on felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia charges. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. Jan. 11.

Jeffrey Mitchell Bengtson,

37, Elmwood, posted a $250 signature bond on an operate without valid license (second within three years) charge Dec. 6. A pre-trial conference is slated for 10 a.m. Jan. 6.

David Ray Collier, 32, Kellogg, Minn., pleaded not guilty and posted a $10,000 signature bond on a criminal trespass to dwelling (repeater) charge Dec. 1. A status conference is scheduled for 11 a.m. Jan. 6.

An arrest warrant was issued for Marcus Davionte English, 25, St. Paul, on Dec. 6 when he failed to make an initial appearance for a felony hit and run – involve injury charge.

An arrest warrant was issued for Caleb William Dockett, 24, Atlantic Mine, Mich., when he failed to make an initial appearance Dec. 6 on OWI-second and operating with PAC-second charges.

An arrest was issued Dec. 6 for Alvin S. Kpelewah, 31, Howard Lake, Minn., who failed to make an initial appearance on felony abduction of child – taking and felony attempt kidnapping/use deceit to induce charges. The charges resulted from an incident in River Falls.

Corinna Ann Linder, 52, Ellsworth, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond on a disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charge Dec. 6. A pre-trial conference is slated for 11:30 a.m. Jan. 6.

A bench warrant was issued Dec. 8 for John Paul Lubich, 31, Prescott, who failed to make an initial appearance Dec. 6 on felony vehicle operator flee/elude officer and operating while revoked (alcohol related) charges.

Willie Lee Ricks Jr., 41, Red Wing, Minn., pleaded not guilty to and posted a $500 signature bond on a possess/illegally obtained prescription charge Dec. 1. A pre-trial conference is slated for 1 p.m. Jan. 6.

Trevor Jon Rothstein, 38, Spring Valley, posted a $2,500 signature bond Dec. 6 on OWI-second, operate with restricted controlled substance (second) and possess/illegally obtained prescription. A pretrial conference is scheduled for 11 a.m. Jan. 11.

Kyle Richard Swanson,

32, Prescott, pleaded not guilty and posted a $2,500 signature bond Dec. 6 on OWI-second and operating with PAC-second charges. A pre-trial conference is set for 10 a.m. Jan. 13.

Heather Marie Thomas,

33, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $250 signature bond Dec. 6 on an operating without valid license (second within three years) charge. A pre-trial conference is slated for 10:30 a.m. Jan. 6.

Gary Michael Washington, 45, Brooklyn Park, Minn., pleaded not guilty and posted a $5,000 signature bond on carrying concealed weapon and possess/illegally obtained prescription charges Dec. 1. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Jan. 6.

Closed cases Jessica Joy Blunt, 38, Bloomington, Minn., was convicted of OWI-third Dec. 7, fined $2,507 and sentenced to 95 days in jail. She was also ordered to install an ignition interlock device for 27 months after a 27-month driver’s license revocation.

Operating with PAC and possess drug paraphernalia charges were dismissed. The charges stemmed from a July 23 traffic stop.

David Ray Collier, 32, Kellogg, Minn., waived extradition to Minnesota Dec. 6.

Brian James Doughty, 52, Prescott, was convicted of possession of THC and fined $277.80 Dec. 6. A possess drug paraphernalia charge was dismissed. The charges resulted from July 9 incident.

A domestic disorderly conduct charge against Holley Ann Fenton, 53, Prescot, was dismissed Dec. 2 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction of agreement. The charge stemmed from a July 21, 2020 incident.

Paige Elizabeth Howard,

29, Red Wing, Minn., was sentenced to one year’s probation and ordered to pay court costs at a sentencing hearing Dec. 6 upon revocation of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. Howard had entered into the agreement after a guilty plea to a felony possession of methamphetamine charge Jan. 8, 2020. The charge resulted from an Aug. 13, 2019 incident.

Tyler Ronald Johannsen,

29, Elmwood, was convicted of theft – movable property Dec. 1, sentenced to one year’s probation, ordered to pay $817.34 in restitution plus a 10% surcharge, and fined $443. The charge stemmed from a May 17, 2020 incident.

Felony neglecting a child (no harm and child < 6) and two neglecting a child (specified harm did not occur) charges against Cassandra Ann Martinez, 32, Prescott, were dismissed. The charges stemmed from a Feb. 5 incident.

A violate harassment restraining order – temporary restraining order charge against Brett Alan Olmsted, 31, Plum City, was dismissed Dec. 6 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge resulted from a June 10, 2020 incident.

Russell Keith Price, 60, Elmwood, was convicted of operating without valid license (second within three years) and fined $443 Dec. 6. The charge stemmed from a May 13 incident.

An operating while revoked (alcohol related) charge against Melissa Ann Remington, 40, Prescott, was dismissed Dec. 3 without prejudice. Remington was convicted of disorderly conduct and fined $277.80. The charges resulted from incidents Sept. 1, 2019 and April 8, 2021.

Michael E. Rohl, 55, Stockholm, was convicted of disorderly conduct and fined $443 Dec. 6. The charge stemmed from a June 30, 2020 incident.

Eric Thomas Wollan, 39, Prescott, was convicted of disorderly conduct Dec. 7 and fined $277.80. Criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from a June 6 incident.
