Initial appearances Devon Martell Fox, 34, Ellsworth, posted a $50,000 signature bond Nov. 23 on felony burglary – armed with dangerous weapon (repeater), felony first-degree recklessly endangering safety (repeater, domestic abuse), felony firstdegree recklessly endangering safety (repeater), felony possess firearm – convicted of a felony, intentionally point firearm at person (repeater, domestic abuse), intentionally point firearm at person (repeater), criminal trespass to dwelling (repeater, domestic abuse), battery, (repeater, domestic abuse), computer message – threaten injury/harm (repeater, domestic abuse) and two disorderly conduct (domestic abuse, repeater) charges. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Jan. 10.

Aaron Ryan Glynn, 32, Prescott, pleaded not guilty and posted a $10,000 signature bond Nov. 18 on two misdemeanor bail jumping charges. A pre-trial conference is slated for 10 a.m. Dec. 17.

Jessie Ann Gross, 30, River Falls, posted a $2,500 signature bond on operate without valid license (second within three years) and two misdemeanor bail jumping charges Nov. 22. A pre-trial conference is set for 11 a.m. Jan. 11.

Robert Albert Juhnke, 39, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond on a disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charge Nov. 17. A pre-trial conference is slated for 1 p.m. Dec. 17.

Julie Ann King, 41, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond on a disorderly conduct (domestic abuse, use of dangerous weapon) charge Nov. 22. A pretrial conference is slated for 2 p.m. Dec. 21.

Nikolaas Russell Murphy,

40, Maiden Rock, posted a $10,000 signature bond Nov. 22 on a possess firearm – convicted of felony charge. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Jan. 4.

Patrick White, 36, Robbinsdale, Minn., was ordered to pay $50 cash bail on an operating while revoked (alcohol related) charge Nov. 22. A pre-trial conference is set for 11:45 a.m. Jan. 11.

Closed cases Ian Matthew Diegre, 41, West St. Paul, Minn., was convicted of theft – movable property Nov. 17, sentenced to one year’s probation, ordered to pay $329.99 in restitution and fined $443. The charge stemmed from a Feb. 25, 2019 incident.

Steven Harvey Freund, 30, Hager City, was convicted of operate without valid license (second within three years) and fined $443 Nov. 17. The charge resulted from an Oct. 10 traffic stop.

Felony forgery – writing or objects (crime against an elderly or disabled person), felony MA fail/notify circumstances, felony theft – movable property > $10,000 (crime against elderly or disabled person) and felony misappropriate ID info – obtain money charges against Richard M. Hagen, 56, Spring Valley, were dismissed Nov. 19. The charges stemmed from an Oct. 10, 2017 incident in Spring Valley.

Kim G. Halverson, 62, River Falls, was convicted of disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) and fined $543 Nov. 22. A felony substantial battery – intend bodily harm (domestic abuse) charge was read-in but dismissed. The charges resulted from a July 23, 2020 incident.

A felony possession of methamphetamine charge against Rebecca Lynn Holm, 25, Ellsworth, was dismissed Nov. 22 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge stemmed from a May 16, 2019 incident.

Felony attempt second-degree intentional homicide (as party to a crime, use of dangerous weapon, violent crime in a school zone), felony first-degree recklessly endangering safety (as party to a crime, use of dangerous weapon, violent crime in a school zone) and disorderly conduct (as party to a crime, use of dangerous weapon) charges against Jevon Henry Jackson, 48, River Falls, were dismissed Nov. 22. The charges resulted from an Aug. 11 incident in River Falls.

Amarea Maydata Ovideo-Kelly, 20, Minneapolis, was convicted of disorderly conduct and fined $277.80 Nov. 22. Resisting or obstructing an officer and theft – movable property charges were dismissed. The charge stemmed from a June 21 incident.

Stephanie Lynn Somsen,

31, Wilson, was convicted of possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia and fined $886 Nov. 22. Felony possession of narcotic drugs and misdemeanor bail jumping charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from a March 6, 2020 incident.

A felony child abuse – intentionally cause harm charge against Holly A. Taddy, 40, River Falls, was dismissed Nov. 22 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge stemmed from an Oct. 8, 2019 incident.
