Initial appearances Tiffanie Jo Boykin, 42, Burnsville, Minn., posted a $5,000 signature bond on felony OWI (fifth or sixth), felony operating with PAC (fifth or sixth) and resisting or obstructing an officer charges Nov. 15. A preliminary hearing is set for 1:30 p.m. Jan. 10.

Joseph W. Brady, 39, Prescott, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond on a false 911 emergency call charge Nov. 15. A pre-trial conference is slated for 8:30 a.m. Jan. 4.

Timothy Adam Chambers, 23, Prescott, was ordered to pay $10,000 cash bail on (all felony) theft – movable property >$5000-$10,000, receiving stolen property > $5,000-$10,000 or firearm, felony bail jumping (three counts), burglary – building or dwelling (two counts), theft-movable property > $10,000-$100,000 (two counts), and two receiving stolen property (>$10,000) charges Nov. 15. All charges have either one or both “repeater” and “as party to a crime” modifiers. Chambers also pleaded not guilty and was ordered to pay $5,000 cash on a misdemeanor theft – movable property charge. A preliminary hearing is slated for 2:30 p.m. Nov. 29.

Frank Edward James Elverum, 33, River Falls, posted a $10,000 signature bond Nov. 15 on felony strangulation and suffocation (domestic abuse) and domestic disorderly conduct charges. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. Dec. 30.

Steven Harvey Freund, 30, Hager City, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond an on operating without a valid license (second within three years) Nov. 15. On Nov. 17, he pleaded no contest to the charge, was convicted and fined $443.

Forrest A. Funmaker, 55, Merrillan, posted a $2,500 signature bond Nov. 15 on OWI-second and operating with PAC (second) charges. A pre-trial conference is slated for 11 a.m. Jan. 10.

Brent Edward King, 17, Beldenville, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond on a disorderly conduct charge Nov. 15. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. Jan. 4.

Gregory Jude Konieczka, 58, River Falls, posted a $5,000 signature bond Nov. 15 on domestic disorderly conduct, battery and misdemeanor bail jumping charges. A pre-trial conference is set for 11:45 a.m. Jan. 10.

Joshua Miguel Watson, 24, Eau Claire, failed to make an initial appearance Nov. 15 for operating while revoked (alcohol related) and ignition interlock device tampering/failure to install/ violate court order charges. A warrant for his arrest was issued Nov. 17.

Closed cases Blake Edward Deal, 40, River Falls, was convicted of criminal damage to property, sentenced to one year’s probation and fined $443 Nov. 10. A possess drug paraphernalia charge was dismissed. The charges resulted from a July 2 incident in River Falls.

A domestic battery charge against Cera Elizabeth Dunn, 19, Ellsworth, was dismissed Nov. 12 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge stemmed from a March 16, 2020 incident.

Michael R. Gilliland, 32, Bay City, was convicted of disorderly conduct, fined $443 and ordered to pay $308.06 in restitution Nov. 16. A lewd/lascivious behavior – exposure charge was dismissed. The charges resulted from a July 13, 2019 incident.

Ostin Michael Klecker, 20, River Falls, was convicted of operate without carrying a license and fined $277.80 Nov. 10. An ignition interlock device tampering/failure to install/violate court order charge was dismissed.

Andrew Scott Langley, 25, Menomonie, was convicted of felony strangulation and suffocation, sentenced to two years’ probation and fined $518 Nov. 16. Disorderly conduct and misdemeanor bail jumping charges were dismissed. The charges stemmed from a Jan. 25 incident.

Felony possession of methamphetamine, possess drug paraphernalia and possession of THC (second+ offense) charges against Frederick Leonard Lemkau, 37, Andover, Minn., were dismissed Nov. 12 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charges resulted from a Feb. 15, 2020 incident.

Shannon Marie Olson, 42, River Falls, was convicted of disorderly conduct and fined $443 Nov. 16. The charge stemmed from a Sept. 29 incident.

Carry concealed weapon and operate firearm while intoxicated charges against Maureece Anthony Sanchez, 34, Inver Grove Heights, Minn., were dismissed Nov. 16 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charges resulted from an April 10, 2020 incident.

A possess drug paraphernalia charge against Michael Thomas Stewart, 32, Marshfield, was dismissed Nov. 9. The charge stemmed from a July 15, 2019 incident.
