Brian James Doughty, 51, Prescott, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond Oct. 26 on possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia charges. A pre-trial conference is set for 2 p.m. Nov. 30.
Desiree Hernandez, 36, Prescott, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond on a resisting/failing to stop charge Oct. 20. A pretrial conference is slated for 9:30 a.m. Dec. 1.
Andre Lavell Page, 27, Red Wing, Minn., posted a $10,000 signature bond Oct. 20 on felony possess with intent – THC and possess drug paraphernalia charges. A preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. Nov. 29. On Oct. 25, Page posted a $10,000 signature bond on felony possess with intent – THC and felony bail jumping charges. That preliminary hearing is also set for 1 p.m. Nov. 29.
Joseph Michael Prantner, 37, Red Wing, Minn., posted a $5,000 signature bond on criminal trespass to dwelling, misdemeanor bail jumping and disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charge Oct. 21. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 4 p.m. Nov. 30.
Christine Marie Ries, 43, Bay City, posted a $1,000 signature bond on disorderly conduct, misdemeanor bail jumping and resisting or obstructing an officer charges Oct. 25. A status conference is set for 1:30 p.m. Dec. 6. Ries also posted a $5,000 signature bond on felony stalking and misdemeanor bail jumping charges Oct. 25. A preliminary hearing is set for 1:30 p.m. Dec. 6.
Joseph Frederick Schmidt, 24, Prescott, posted a $5,000 signature bond Oct. 19 on operating while revoked (alcohol related) and three felony bail jumping charges. A pre-trial conference is slated for 3:30 p.m. Nov. 18.
Matthew Daniel Score, 48, River Falls, posted a $2,500 signature bond Oct. 25 on a misdemeanor bail jumping charge. A pre-trial conference is slated for 2:30 p.m. Dec. 7.
Matthew Allen Turenne, 30, Forest Lake, Minn., posted a $10,000 signature bond Oct. 26 on felony possession of methamphetamine, resisting or obstructing an officer, disorderly conduct and possess drug paraphernalia (all repeater) charges. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Nov. 8.
Kyle Alexander Vanblaircom, 30, River Falls, posted a $10,000 signature bond Oct. 25 on a felony neglecting a child (no harm and child < 6 years or disability) charge. A preliminary hearing is slated for 1:15 p.m. Nov. 30.
Austin Lee Welch, 26, Hager City, pleaded not guilty and posted a $2,500 signature bond Oct. 22 on operating while revoked (alcohol related) and ignition interlock device tampering/failure to install/violate court order charges. A pre-trial conference is set for 1 p.m. Nov. 23.
Aaron Allen Wiesender, 39, Ellsworth, posted a $10,000 signature bond Oct. 20 on resisting or obstructing an officer, criminal damage to property, battery, disorderly conduct and two felony bail jumping charges. A preliminary hearing is slated for 1:30 p.m. Nov. 29.
Chace Allen Williams, 26, Ellsworth, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond on a domestic disorderly conduct charge Oct. 25. A pre-trail conference is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. Nov. 30.
Failure to appear Micah Montre Marrison, 21, Red Wing, Minn., failed to appear in court Oct. 25 for an initial appearance. He is charged with operating without a valid license (second within three years). A warrant was issued for his arrest Oct. 26.
Sterling Dale Stark, 29, New Richmond, failed to appear in court Oct. 25 for an initial appearance. He is charged with operating while revoked (alcohol related). A warrant was issued for his arrest Oct. 25.
Robert Donald Wind, 42, St. Paul, failed to appear in court Oct. 25 for an initial appearance. He is charged with resisting or obstructing an officer, battery and disorderly conduct. A warrant was issued for his arrest Oct. 26.
Deferred prosecution Brandon Maurice Baringer, 30, Spring Valley, was convicted of possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia, sentenced to two years’ probation and fined $886 Oct. 25. He pleaded guilty to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a felony possess with intent – THC charge. He was also convicted of OWI-first, fined $937.50 and his license was revoked for six months. The charges stemmed from incident June 2.
Dianna M.C. Dupey, 35, Prescott, pleaded guilty to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a felony neglecting a child (harm did not occur/child under 6 or disability) charge Oct. 26. Two felony neglecting a child (harm did not occur/child under 6 or disability) charges and one count of misdemeanor neglecting a child (specified harm did not occur) was dismissed. The charges were filed Jan. 4, 2019.
Noah W. Garland, 34, Hudson, was convicted of resisting or obstructing an officer and two counts of theft – movable property, sentenced to two years of probation and fined $1,329 Oct. 26. He was also ordered not to have contact with Swede’s gas station in River Falls. He pleaded guilty to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on felony second-degree recklessly endangering safety and felony vehicle operator flee/elude officer charges. A felony bail jumping charge was readin but dismissed. Possession of THC, possess drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor bail jumping and two felony bail jumping charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents in July 2019 and Aug. 14, 2019.
Masah Lee Hutter, 23, Bay City, pleaded guilty to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a domestic disorderly conduct charge Oct. 19. The charge stemmed from an incident Nov. 1, 2020.
John A. Wilson, 39, Elmwood, pleaded no contest to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a felony child abuse – recklessly cause harm charge Oct. 25. The charge resulted from an incident on Nov. 12, 2020.
Closed cases
An OWI-second charge against Jeremy C. Ammerman, 48, Hastings, Minn., was dismissed Oct. 22. The charge resulted from a Sept. 16, 1996 traffic stop.
Lindsey Rae Anderson Richmond, 28, Ellsworth, was convicted of operate without carrying a license and fined $277.80 Oct. 26. The charge stemmed from a Jan. 2 traffic stop.
Kristin Lynn Arjes, 25, Ellsworth, was convicted of felony neglecting a child – harm did not occur/child under 6 or disability (as party to a crime) and felony bail jumping, sentenced to three years’ probation and fined $1,036 Oct. 25. Two felony bail jumping charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents Feb. 13, 2020; March 29, April 12 and May 14.
Erica Diane Bakken, 34, Ellsworth, was convicted of obstructing an officer and fined $277.80 Oct. 19. The charge stemmed from a July 7, 2020 incident in Ellsworth.
James Daniel Burton, 36, River Falls, was convicted of contempt of court/disobey order and resisting or obstructing an officer, sentenced to one year’s probation and 10 days in jail, and fined $886 Oct. 25. Possess drug paraphernalia, possession of THC, 10 felony bail jumping, four misdemeanor bail jumping and two contempt of court/disobey order charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents occurring April 17, 2020; Aug. 30, 2020; Dec. 21, 2020; Feb. 3, July 1 and July 2.
Dianna M.C. Dupey, 35, Prescott, was convicted of felony take and drive vehicle without consent and felony possession of methamphetamine, sentenced to three years’ probation and fined $1,036 Oct. 26. Three felony bail jumping and three possess drug paraphernalia charges were dismissed. The charges stemmed from incidents occurring Aug. 29, 2018; July 17, 2019; and Nov. 19, 2020.
A felony possession of narcotic drugs charge against Sofia G. Falagan, 21, Woodbury, Minn., was dismissed upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement Oct. 21. The charge resulted from a Nov. 18, 2019 incident.
Criminal damage to property, domestic battery and domestic disorderly conduct charges against Jeremy J. Furlong, 40, Maiden Rock, were dismissed upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement Oct. 21. The charges stemmed from a June 19, 2020 incident.
Robert Earl Gee, 30, River Falls, was convicted of retail theft – intentionally take and disorderly conduct, sentenced to one year’s probation, fined $720.80, ordered to pay $3.76 in restitution and ordered to stay out of Holiday in River Falls Oct. 25. Criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents occurring May 9, 2020; Aug. 24, 2020; and Feb. 23.
Five felony failure to support child (120 days+) charges against Khristopher O. Hoffman, 45, Hager City, was dismissed upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement Oct. 19. The charges stemmed from incidents occurring Jan. 1, 2011; June 26, 2011; Nov. 1, 2011; April 1, 2012; and Sept. 1, 2012.
Steven Anthony Jones, 53, Ellsworth, was convicted of criminal trespass to dwelling, resisting or obstructing an officer, and two fourth degree sexual assault charges Sept. 13. On Oct. 26, he was sentenced to three years’ probation and fined $1,772. Felony manufacture/deliver THC (distribution to minors), possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia charges were dismissed. A felony false imprisonment charge was read-in but dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents occurring Dec. 30, 2017 and Sept. 7, 2019.
Ryan Richard Larson, 35, Savage, Minn., was convicted of resisting or obstructing an officer and fined $443 Oct. 26. The charge stemmed from an incident occurring April 7, 2018.
Melissa Jo Maldonado, 32, Prescott, was convicted of disorderly conduct and fined $277.80 Oct. 22. A criminal damage to property charge was dismissed. The charges resulted from a June 6 incident.
