Brian D. Melstrom, 54, Ellsworth, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond on an operating while revoked (alcohol related) charge Oct. 4. A pre-trial conference is set for 11 a.m. Nov. 2.
Mandy J. Siepelmeyer-Johnson,
39, Hager City, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond on OWI-second and operating with PAC (second) Oct. 4. A pre-trial conference is set for 3:30 p.m. Nov. 9.
Benjamin Charles Souster, 49, Plum City, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond on operating while revoked (alcohol related) and two misdemeanor bail jumping charges Oct. 4. A status conference is slated for 4 p.m. Dec. 13.
Closed cases
An operating while revoked charge against
Christopher R. Bowen, 38, Ellsworth, was dismissed Sept. 30 before an initial appearance. The charge resulted from an incident July 3.
Eric Wayne Moses, 26, Chaseburg, was convicted of operate without carrying a license and fined $277.80 Sept. 30. The charge stemmed from a traffic stop March 4, 2018.
Bryan Michael Penrose,
36, Minneapolis, was convicted of felony burglary – building or dwelling and felony criminal damage to property (over $2,500), sentenced to five years’ probation, fined $1,036 and ordered to pay $4,515.50 in restitution Oct. 4. A felony criminal damage to property charge (over $2,500) was read-in but dismissed. Felony possession of burglarious tools and possess drug paraphernalia charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from an Oct. 24, 2020 incident at Langer’s Bar.
A theft – false representation charge against Kory Phompheng, 45, Prescott, was dismissed Sept. 29 before an initial appearance. The charge resulted from an incident on Jan. 4, 2020 incident.
Brenda Lee Sherman, 58, Shoreview, Minn., was convicted of disorderly conduct and fined $209 Sept. 30. The charge stemmed from an incident on March 3, 1999.
Shyanne N. Sullivan, 27, North Hudson, was convicted of felony possession of methamphetamine, sentenced to 104 days in jail (time served) and fined $518 Oct. 1.
