Initial appearances Douglas J. Hanken, 26, Chippewa Falls, posted a $10,000 signature bond on felony arson of building – without owner’s consent and felony burglary – building or dwelling charges June 28. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 10 a.m. Aug. 2.

Seth W. Harrison, 22, Hudson, pleaded innocent and was ordered to pay $500 cash bail on intimidate victim/ dissuade reporting, battery and disorderly conduct charges June 29. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 11 a.m. Aug. 3.

Masah Lee Hutter, 22, Bay City, pleaded innocent and was ordered to pay $150 cash bond on a domestic disorderly conduct charge June 28. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. July 26.

Lucas Scott Johnson,

37, Cottage Grove, Minn., posted a $10,000 signature bond on a felony substantial battery – intend bodily harm charge June 28. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. July 27.

Cassandra Ann Martinez, 31, Prescott, posted a $5,000 signature bond on a felony neglecting a child (no harm and child under 6 or disability) and two neglecting a child (specified harm did not occur) charges June 28. A preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. Aug. 5.

Allen Gene McCuen, 35, Elmwood, posted a $5,000 signature bond on six contempt of court/disobey order charges June 28. A status conference is set for 2:30 p.m. July 19.

Daniel Joseph Perry, 34, Wabasha, Minn., posted a $10,000 signature bond on felony possess firearm – convicted of out-of-state felony, felony receiving stolen property > $5,000$10,000 or firearm (as party to a crime) and misdemeanor receiving or concealing stolen property (as party to a crime) charges June 28. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. July 27.

Christopher Corvele Walker, 24, La Crosse, pleaded innocent and posted a $500 signature bond on a carry concealed weapon charge July 1. A pre-trial conference is set for 1:15 p.m. Aug. 9.

Closed cases Michael J. Carey, 39, Altoona, was convicted of felony drive and operate vehicle – without consent (repeater) and felony possession of methamphetamine, sentenced to five years of probation, and fined $1,036 June 28. Possess drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor bail jumping (two counts), ignition interlock device tampering/ failure to install/violate court order and operating while revoked (alcohol related), all with the repeater modifier, were dismissed. The charges were filed April 28, 2020.

Christopher Kenneth Detmar, 24, St. Paul Park, Minn., was convicted of possession of THC and fined $277.80 June 28. The charge was filed April 28, 2020.

Allison Ann Forsman,

39, Altoona, was convicted of felony drive or operate vehicle without consent (repeater) and felony possession of methamphetamine (repeater), sentenced to five years of probation, and fined $1,036 June 28. Possess drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor bail jumping (two counts), ignition interlock device tampering/failure to install/violate court order and operating while revoked (alcohol related), all with the repeater modifier, were dismissed. The charges were filed April 28, 2020.

A child abuse – intentionally cause harm against Ross Christian Hesse, 29, River Falls, was dismissed upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement June 29. The charge was filed May 12, 2020.

Rachel Elizabeth Hutcheson, 22, Prescott, was convicted of disorderly conduct (use of a dangerous weapon), sentenced to one year of probation, ordered to pay $10.43 in restitution and fined $443 July 1. A possess drug paraphernalia charge was dismissed. Misdemeanor bail jumping, resisting or obstructing an officer and theft – movable property charges were dismissed. The charges were filed May 10 and June 15.

Dustin Michael McLeod, 28, St. Paul, was sentenced to 253 days in jail (time served) and probation at a revocation sentencing hearing July 1. He had been convicted of felony receiving stolen property and possession of THC on March 5, 2019. His probation was revoked on May 26, 2021.

David Joseph Okeson,

52, Prescott, was convicted of disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) on June 9. A felony aggravated battery – intend bodily harm (domestic abuse) charge was dismissed. At a sentencing hearing July 1, he was sentenced to two years of probation and fined $543. The charges were filed Feb. 19, 2020.

Tyler Steven Palmer, 36, Bayport, Minn., was convicted of resisting or obstructing an officer, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct, sentenced to two years of probation and fined $1,329 June 29. A felony battery or threat to judge, prosecutor or law enforcement officer charge was dismissed. Restitution will be determined in 30 days. The charges were filed Jan. 12.

Timothy J. Phillips, 37, Ellsworth, was convicted of possession of THC and fined $277.80 on June 29. A possess drug paraphernalia charge was dismissed. The charges were filed March 15.

Ryan L. Reynolds, 28, Bay City, pleaded guilty to and entered a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a felony child abuse – recklessly cause harm charge on April 2, 2019. The agreement was revoked April 6, 2021; at a sentencing hearing June 28, Reynolds was sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to pay remaining court costs. The charge was filed Oct. 15, 2018.

Dennis W. Robinson, 31, New Richmond, was convicted of theft – movable property, sentenced to one year of probation and ordered to pay fines and restitution totaling $1,141.36 on June 28. The charge was filed Feb. 2.

Felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC, possess drug paraphernalia and intentionally contribute – delinquency/ child charges against

Nikki Jeanne Schorn, 59, Ellsworth, were dismissed June 30 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charges were filed April 10, 2018.

Deferred cases Leah Marie Clausing,

43, Ellsworth, was convicted of issue of worthless checks and fined $443 June 29. She also pleaded guilty to and entered a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on an issue of worthless checks charge. Two misdemeanor bail jumping charges were dismissed. The charges were filed March 30, 2020.

Natasha Marie Ritter,

35, Prescott, pleaded guilty to and entered a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a neglecting a child (specified harm did not occur) charge on June 28. A felony bail jumping charge was read-in but dismissed. The charges were filed Jan. 7 and May 4.
