Initial appearances Jennifer Lynn Javner,
30, River Falls, posted a $5,000 signature bond June 24 on felony battery or threat to judge, law enforcement or prosecutor, resisting or obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct charges. A status conference is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. July 14.
Jeremy M. Jennings, 38, Rochester, Minn., posted a $10,000 signature bond June 30 on a felony sex offender – fail/provide information charge. A status conference is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. June 14.
Michael Thomas Stewart, 31, Marshfield, posted a $1,000 signature bond on a possess drug paraphernalia charge June 25. A pre-trial conference is set for 1:30 p.m. July 26.
Closed cases
A contempt of court – disobey order charge against
Courtney Lynn Davis, 25, Cochrane, was dismissed
June 23. The charge was filed March 2.
Tanner Lee Gjerdahl,
27, River Falls, was convicted of disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) at a jury trial, sentenced to one year of probation and fined $543 June 23. A second disorderly conduct charge was read-in but dismissed. The charges were filed Nov. 4, 2020.
Leon Antione McKinney, 41, Hudson, was fined $518 June 25 after a deferred judgment of conviction agreement was revoked on a felony possession of methamphetamine charge. Felony bail jumping and operate without valid license (second within three years) charges were also dismissed before the initial appearance. The charges stemmed from filings Dec. 13, 2018 and May 6, 2021.
Corey E. Raverty, 40, River Falls, was convicted of felony strangulation and suffocation (domestic abuse), sentenced to three years of probation and one year of conditional jail time (home monitoring allowed), and fined $618 June 25. Two felony child abuse – intentionally cause harm charges were read in but dismissed. Battery (domestic abuse), disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) and felony bail jumping charges were dismissed. The charges were filed on March 25, 2020 and April 13, 2020.
Everette Dale Sarnstrom, 35, Hager City, was convicted of possess drug paraphernalia in December 2019 after a deferred judgment of conviction agreement was revoked. On June 25, he was fined $443 and given nine months to pay it. The charge was filed June 7, 2018.
Timothy D. Wren, 27, Hager City, was convicted of disorderly conduct and fined $277.80 June 24. The charge was filed Feb. 19.
