Pierce County deputies responded to a two-vehicle head-on collision at 4:24 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24 on State Road 29 near 330th Street in the town of Gilman.
A 2016 Ford F250 pulling a camper, driven by Timothy De Jong, 61, Prescott, was traveling westbound on State Road 29 when it collided with a 2025 Ford F-250, driven by Shane Rosendahl, 37, Menomonie, who was traveling eastbound. Weather conditions were extremely foggy at the time of the crash and the highway was closed for over an hour with traffic rerouted.
Spring Valley Ambulance transported Rosendahl to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with undisclosed injuries, while DeJong reported no injuries. Spring Valley Ambulance Service, Spring Valley Fire Department, Spring Valley Police Department, United Fire Department and Baldwin EMS assisted PCSO at the scene.
