EAU CLAIRE – The Chippewa Valley Technical College District Board approved the 2024-25 budget as proposed during its meeting on Thursday, June 27.

The budget calls for total expenditures of $115,403,675, a reduction of 2.63 percent from the 2023-24 revised budget due mainly to less planned capital project expenses. General fund revenues are projected to be $63,882,544, up 1.26 percent from 2023-24.

An estimated six percent increase in property values will result in a decrease in the mill rate of 0.01 percent from $66.29 per $100,000 of property value to $66.28. While the mill rate is decreasing, the overall amount collected throughout the district via the tax levy is $27,368,883, up 5.99 percent from the previous year.

With more than 165 programs, certificates and apprenticeships offered online and on-campus, Chippewa Valley Technical College delivers innovative, applied, and flexible education that supports a diverse community of learners, improves the lives of students, and adds value to our communities.
