Dennis Daniel O’Brien, age 83, of_Beldenville, WI, passed away July 6, 2021 at the Ellsworth Health Services. Dennis was born August 1, 1937 in St. Paul, MN to John and Josephine (Olsen) O’Brien._ He graduated from Henry Sibley High School, with the Class of 1955._ On June 2, 1956, Dennis was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Nutzmann._ Their marriage was blessed with five children, Dennis, Michelle, Cindy, John and Daniel, and 65 years of devotion._ Dennis worked many years as an Analyst for 3M Company._ Outside of his work, Dennis _had a great interest in_history and_enjoyed_reading._ He took great pride_and was meticulous _in_maintaining his lawn and cutting wood. Dennis_ cherished his time with_ his_ family and loved every minute_ spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. _ Dennis and Pat_were blessed to have great memories of_ camping travels in their trailer with friends_and family, _and trips to_Ireland with their family._ Dennis will remain in the hearts of his loving wife, Pat; children, Dennis (Becki) O’Brien, Michelle (Randy) Swenson, Cindy (Bill) Schmidt and John O’Brien; grandchildren: _ Shannon O’Brien, Patrick O’Brien, Matt Swenson, Christopher Swenson, Emily (Sara) Schmidt-Kost, Erin O’Brien, Thomas O’Brien, Tommi O’Brien and Keith O’Brien; great-grandchildren: Lilly, Maddox, Lukas, McKenzie, Chandler, Braelynn, and Jack; along with many nieces and nephews._ He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel; grandsons, Sean O’Brien and Jack Schmidt; brothers, Jack and Tom O’Brien; and his parents, John and Josephine O’Brien.___ Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 10, 2021 at St. Francis Catholic Church, 231 Woodworth St., Ellsworth, WI, with Fr. David Olson officiating. _ A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place one hour prior to Mass at the church._ Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery. Urn bearers assisting with the services will be: Patrick O’Brien, Matt Swenson, Christopher Swenson, Tommi O’Brien, Emily Schmidt-Kost and Tom O’Brien.
