RIVER FALLS– Hudson native Dr. Jennifer Jorgensen recently joined Dr. Michael McFarland’s Main Street Family Dental in River Falls.
Dr. Jorgensen is a graduate from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. She most recently practiced in Cambridge, Minn. and has been a dentist for four years.
“We are excited to have Dr. Jorgensen on our team,” said Dr. McFarland. “Her expertise truly compliments our practice as we continue to grow and expand our services.”
Dr. Jorgensen completed her undergraduate degree at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo. After graduating with a major in Biochemistry, she attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.
She was most recently practicing in Cambridge, Minn., but came back to River Falls to be closer to her hometown of Hudson, where she lives with her husband and her 2-year-old son.
Dr. Jorgensen values her community and her family and is happy to be practicing close to home where she can continue to create and maintain connections with patients.
“I have really enjoyed getting to know patients and staff, and I am looking forward to continuing to meet new patients and building relationships,” Dr. Jorgensen said. “I am thankful to be able to give back to the community where I was raised, and do so in a helpful and caring way.”
Main Street Family Dental provides family care, offering the latest in dental technology. In addition to routine cleanings and checkups, the practice specializes in treating sleep apnea, implants, cosmetic dentistry, root canals, and more. The Main Street team is available for emergency care and procedures.
Main Street Dental, founded in 1971, was acquired by Dr. McFarland in 2006. Dr. McFarland has been a dentist for nearly 30 years and also graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry with an undergraduate degree from the University of St. Thomas. He has since completed continuing education in areas of cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, sleep apnea and implant dentistry.
