Felicia Biagi, 34, Durand, died at 8:25 p.m. Friday Feb. 7, 2025 as a result of the injuries she sustained in a two-vehicle crash Feb. 6 on County Road CC near 730th Avenue in the town of Spring Lake.
Deputies responded at 11:06 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6 to a two-vehicle crash. A 2017 Honda Accord, driven by Biagi was traveling southbound on County Road CC when it lost control and struck a 2016 Chevy Silverado traveling northbound, driven by James Claflin, 56, Hager City.
Baldwin EMS transported Biagi to Western Wisconsin Health in Baldwin; Life Link Helicopter then transported her to Regions Hospital in St. Paul where she later died from her injuries. Claflin and passenger Diane Claflin, 55, Hager City, were transported by Spring Valley Ambulance to Western Wisconsin Health with undisclosed injuries. Baldwin EMS, Spring Valley Ambulance, Spring Valley Fire, Elmwood Fire, Ellsworth Fire, St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office, Elmwood Police Department, Pierce County Highway Department, Life Link Helicopter and Wisconsin State Patrol assisted at the scene.

Officers were dispatched at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5 to a single-vehicle crash with injury on 210th Avenue near 490th Street in the town of Hartland. A 2013 Chevy Malibu, driven by Abbie Jo Flynn, 40, Maiden Rock, was traveling eastbound on 210th Avenue when she lost control and entered the ditch. Ellsworth EMS transported Flynn to Advent Hospital in Durand with undisclosed injuries. Ellsworth EMS and Ellsworth Fire assisted at the scene. Flynn was arrested for OWI.
