It’s going to be a great day for trout fishing!
The Eau Galle Rush River Sportsman’s Club hosts its 46th Annual Trout Fishing Contest and Fundraising Auction on Sat
urday, May 7.
Weigh station for the fishing contest and festivities will be held at the Ellsworth Rod & Gun Club, eight miles east of Ellsworth on Hwy. 72, located on the Rush River.
Proceeds from the event are used for wildlife and stream habi
tat restoration and to help launch a trap team at Spring Valley High School.
Food will be served all day, with breakfast and a chicken din
ner. Prizes will be awarded for the largest trout for those 16 years and older and 15 years and younger. There will be cash prize drawings as well.
Hines Auction Service will run the live auction at the event.
