Ellsworth Fire Department responded to a report of smoke showing from an outbuilding at N2105 County Road EE in the Town of Hartland on Monday, Dec. 23.
When crews arrived they found an approximately 50’x40’ structure as well as an attached 100’x80’ structure; there was heavy smoke coming from the roof line and garage door area of the small building. Crews were able to confine the fire to the small building, though some smoke entered the larger building that was removed with fans. The buildings were unoccupied at the time of the fire; no injuries were reported.

Ellsworth Fire was assisted on scene by Red Wing Fire, Lund Fire, Prescott Fire, Ellsworth EMS and the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.
