As the Pierce County Food Pantry makes its push to raise $40-50,000 for a new van, American Legion Post 204 in Ellsworth donated $1,000 to help the cause.
The van would be a delivery van. Currently, the pantry uses a minivan that they consider too small to carry out pickup and delivery tasks. The minivan is also in need of repairs.
To donate by check, write “New Van” in the memo and send it to Hunger Prevention Council of Pierce County at PO Box 201 Ellsworth, WI. 54011. Donations can also be made online at hungerpreventioncouncil.com by clicking on “GIVE” and writing “New Van” in the memo.
