ELLSWORTH POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS

The following incidents were reported to the Ellsworth Police Department May 24-30.

May 24

•At 3:13 p.m., someone reported an ATV operating at 185 E. Viola St. Police did not find an ATV when they arrived, but saw tire tracks in the southeastern corner of the dump.

•At 9:49 p.m., police responded to a two-vehicle vs. deer crash at 450th Avenue and 710th Street. Police notified PCSO. Both vehicles were still driveable and the deer was moved off the roadway.

May 25

•At 6:54 a.m., police were called to 166 E. Main St. to assist with a house fire.

May 26

•At 12:03 a.m., police received a complaint of things being thrown at the window at 113 Kruger Lane. When police responded, they found egg whites on the window and eggshells on the ground. No one appeared to be in the area any longer.

May 27

•At 1:21 a.m., police investigated a complaint of someone trying to break into a house in the 700 block of Campbell Street. The complainant said she heard someone trying to get in her windows. Police did not see evidence of damage or tampering nor anyone leaving the area. The complainant said she had been receiving threats.

May 28

•At 1:52 a.m., police observed a man sleeping in his car at 181 E. Main St. When they woke him up, he said he had been drinking and was resting. A sober driver was called to pick him up.

•At 9 a.m., police received an unwanted person complaint from 166 E. Main St. The complainant said a man had been at the residence who wasn’t supposed to be per court order on both May 23 and May 24.

•At 2:26 p.m., a man reported an attempted vehicle registration tag theft from his vehicle at 232 N. Wallace St. The complainant had dash cam video evidence of the attempted theft.

•At 4:20 p.m., Lamar Raheem, 41, Ellsworth, was arrested at 310 W. Main St. for a probation violation. He was taken to the Pierce County Jail.

May 29

•At 2:03 a.m., police assisted Pierce County deputies and EMS with a vehicle crash at 860th Street and Highway 10.

•At 5:03 p.m., police received a complaint of fireworks being set off in the 200 block of South Chestnut Street. Parents were notified and remained in possession of the fireworks.

•At 8:10 p.m., someone reported a large branch on the power lines and Chestnut and Church streets. Xcel Energy responded to get the branch off the lines. The streets department was notified to clean up debris.

May 30

•At 6:54 p.m., police investigated a report of a runaway being at a residence in the 200 block of Kruger Lane. The juvenile was not there.
