April 27 2:21 a.m.

While performing a security check in the 300 block of Hillcrest St., an open door was found. A search of the building was uneventful.

6:45 p.m.

An officer spoke with a complainant in the 300 block of S. Walnut St. who reported two kid’s bicycles were taken from their yard over the weekend. One of the bikes was found lying on the edge of the woods near the intersection of Kinne St. and Dana St. The lime green bike was still unaccounted for. 9:02 p.m.

An officer stopped and warned a driver for making an illegal turn into traffic near the intersection of Main St. and Morse St.

11:23 p.m.

An officer received a complaint of fraud on Taxi Service in the 100 block of N. Maple St. Upon making contact with the complainant and suspect, it was found the suspect’s card was declined. The suspect stated they were unaware the account was empty and had no other way to pay. The suspect was instructed that the report would be forwarded to the DA.

Apr. 28 1:44 a.m.

An officer was called to unlock a vehicle in the 200 block of S. Plum St.

1:09 P.M.

An officer was called to the 300 block of W. Kinne St. for a verbal dispute over money. The subjects were warned for their behavior.

8:29 p.m.

While driving westbound on Main St. and approaching the stoplight, an officer observed a driver enter the leftturn only lane and continue through the intersection. The driver was warned for the violation.

Apr. 30 1:05 a.m.

An officer assisted for a suspicious activity complaint in the county.

10:45 a.m.

An officer spoke with a complainant in the 100 block of Evergreen Estates St. regarding a potential theft. The complainant stated they did not want anything done about it and stated the individuals took off on foot towards the north. Eventually, the officers located two individuals in the 100 block of Evergreen Estates St. One of the subjects was given a notice to appear form for their warrant. 11:48 p.m.

An officer responded to the 700 block of S. Maple St. for a subject who stated that she had gotten a new phone and the person at the store had told her to put a lock on the screen. She stated that she did not want the lock and did not understand how to work the phone. The officer assisted her in unlocking her phone and at her request, removed the lock on the device.

May 1 10:19 a.m.

An officer was advised to contact a subject who had received a possibly fraudulent call from someone claiming to work for Excel Energy. The subject was told he was $432 past due and needed to pay over the phone to avoid a disconnect in service. The subject verified with Excel he was not past due and stated he did not give out any private information over the phone. He also stated the caller spoke with broken English.

5:29 p.m.

An officer was advised of a suspicious person in the 500 block of Vincent Ln. who had left flyers in a yard. The officer was unable to locate anyone matching the given description.

8:53 p.m.

An officer responded to the 100 block of S. Piety St. for a subject that stated he was locked out. The officer made contact with the owner of the property, who provided paperwork that the complainant agreed to be out of the property by the 30th of April, as his lease was ending. The complainant was advised he could collect his property the following day.

May 2 8:39 a.m.

A driver was stopped and warned for passing on a double yellow line located on a hill near the intersection of Maple St. and Grove St.

May 3 3:05 a.m.

An officer assisted PCSO with a disabled vehicle on Hill St. near Hwy. 10. The vehicle appeared to be overheating and leaking oil. The vehicle was removed by Melstroms.
