ELLSWORTH – Here is what’s on tap for November at Ellsworth Public Library.
We are celebrating International Games Month with some special events: Game and Puzzle Trivia: 7 p.m. Nov. 10. Join us in the lower level of the library or from home on Zoom – get a team together or join others from around Wisconsin for some trivia fun!
TAB Teen Video Gaming: 4 p.m. Nov. 22. Teens ages 12-18 are invited to join us in the lower level of the library for an afternoon of snacks and video games Drop-in Board Games and Puzzles: 5-7 p.m. Nov. 22; for all ages.
Friday Storytime: 10 a.m. Nov. 4, 11 and 18 in the lower level of the library (unless we have weather we can’t pass up then we’ll meet at East End Park).
Doodle Club: 4 p.m. Nov. 8, for ages 9-12 in the lower level of the library.
Morning Book Club: 10:30 a.m. Nov. 10, “When Ghosts Come Home,” by Wiley Cash, in the Senior Center Discover Together Tuesday: 11 a.m. Nov. 15, in the Senior Center. POW Camps in Wisconsin: Matt Carter will lead us through the history of German POW camps in Wisconsin during WWII and we’ll discover together their impact on our local counties and communities. A meal sponsored by the Ellsworth Senior Center and the Friends of the Ellsworth Public Library will follow. This program is open to people of all ages.
LEGO with the Library: 4 p.m. Nov. 15, in the lower level of the library.
St. Croix Valley Job Center employment assistance, 1-3 p.m. Nov. 17 Community Book Club: 6:30 p.m. Nov.
17, “The Night Watchman,” by Louise Erdrich, in the lower level of the library.
Robotics for Kids: 10 a.m. Nov. 19.
You’ll want to join us as we work together to build a Rube Goldberg machine; call the library to register.
Saturday Story Spectacular: 10:30 a.m.
Nov. 26, stories, songs, games and crafts celebrating author/illustrator Jon Klassen.
Cyber Monday: Nov. 28, seasonal picture book giveaway on the EPL Facebook Page.
