ELLSWORTH – The Ellsworth Public Library invites you to check out the new space at 388 W. Main St. and fun programs in March.
Friday Morning Storytime: At 10:10 a.m. March 3, 10, 17 and 24 in the Storytime Playspace
Stitchin’ Time Crafters: At 10 a.m. March 6, 13, 20, 22 and 27 in the Meeting Room. We welcome all who knit, crochet, do needlework or other handicrafts for creating and socializing.
Spring Break Library Staycation: March 6-11. Enjoy a staycation this Spring Break at the library! Drop-in crafts and activities all week long in the Makerspace and an obstacle course will be set up in the Storytime Playspace
Morning Book Club: 10:30 a.m. March 9 in the Meeting Room
Therapy Dog Maggie: 4-5 p.m. March 13. Contact the library for a 15-minute one-on-one times slot to spend with Maggie. All ages welcome.
St. Francis Music Concert: 11 a.m. March 14. Join us at the Ellsworth Senior Center for a program that includes students from St. Francis School singing. Luncheon will be provided after the program by Friends of the Library and the Ellsworth Senior Center
Doodle Club: 4 p.m. March 14 in the Makerspace. For ages 9-12.
Community Book Club: 6:30 p.m. March 16 in the Meeting Room
Teen Room Ribbon Cutting Celebration: 4 p.m. March 16 in the Teen Room and Makerspace
Teen Book Box Party: 5 p.m. in the Teen Room and Makerspace. Teen Book Box program participants past, present and those interested in joining are invited to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the program
Robotics Exploration: At 10 a.m. March 18 in the Makerspace. Recommended for ages 8+. Registration requested and given preference, though walk-ins are welcome.
LEGO at the Library: 4 p.m. March 21 in the Makerspace
Saturday Story Spectacular: 10:30 a.m. March 25, celebrating the works of author Kate DiCamillo with stories, crafts and songs
Mystery Quilt Reveal Show & Tell: 6:30 p.m. March 27
The All Together Now Year-long Reading Challenge is going on now through Dec. 28, 2023. Diversify your reading in 2023 by joining the challenge!
