ELLSWORTH – Here is what is happening at Ellsworth Public Library in June!

Pollinator Month Webinar and DIY Series with Garden Expert Melinda Myers June 1, June 15 and June 23 – full details at ellsworthlibrary. org/national-pollinator- month Friday Storytime – 10 a,m., East End Park June 10 – we have a calf visiting for National Dairy Month June 17 – we have local beekeepers visiting to teach us about bees and beekeeping for National Pollinator Month June 24 – we are having a special storytime at Cairns Woods Morning Book club:

10:30 a.m. June 9. They will be discussing local author Kim Catron’s book “Threshing of Straw.”

Mornings in the Garden: June 11 and June 23. We are partnering with Grow to Share and the River Falls Public Library for the first of four summer Mornings in the Garden programs

Shipwrecks: Treasures of the Great Lakes: 11 a.m. June 24 virtual program – interact with the presenter at the Senior Center or view online by registering at bit. ly/EPLshipwrecks Doodle Club (ages 9-12):

4 p.m. June 14. Nature Drawing at Cairns Woods

Community Book Club:

6:30 p.m. June 16 at Summit Park, featuring “Manhattan Beach” by Jennifer Egan Summer STEM: Fizz, Boom, Pop! June 18; Chemistry for Kids (ages 5+) East End Park, registration required LEGO in the Park: 4 p.m. June 21 at East End Park Trimbelle Nature Day:

1-3 p.m. June 22 at Trimbelle Recreation Area, County O. Hikes, art, stories, water activities, water bugs, see a live DNR fish count Summer Library Program sign up begins June 22: Read and complete activities June 27 – Aug. 5 to earn rewards and chances to win prizes!

Poolside Storytime: June 23 and 30 at Klaas-Jonas Community Pool during afternoon swim breaks at about 2:30 p.m.
