The newly remodeled Ellsworth Rod and Gun has set its Chicken Feed Schedule for 2026.
The first feed of the year is Thursday, May 21. They are open to the public. Advance ticket purchase is advised. Tickets are available from local businesses such as Broz Bar, Hines Auction, Captain Jack’s, Langer’s Bar, Thirsty Badger, The Honey Hole and Mooney’s Rusty Horse. Tickets are also available at www.ellsworthrodandgun.com
The chicken feeds are one of three major events that fund the many projects associated with the Ellsworth Rod and Gun. They include safety programs for youth such as hunter’s, ATV and snowmobile safety. Trout in the Classroom is another program that is partially funded by the club.
Ellsworth Rod and Gun President Chris Kilness proudly announces the following Chicken Feed dates for 2026.
The Ellsworth Rod and Gun is located at W3930 State Road 72, Ellsworth. The bar opens at 5 p.m., with chicken served 5:30-8 p.m.
