ELLSWORTH – The Ellsworth Senior Center would like to invite all senior citizens age 50 and greater to the following events to be held at the senior center (312 W. Main St.): Come and join the Pool Players every Monday and Friday from 1-3 p.m.
Discovering Together Tuesday will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14. Katie Galloway from Associated Bank will present an Identify Theft Prevention Seminar. The focus will be on helping community members understand how to be proactive and prevent scams when it comes to check fraud, computer takeovers, debit card fraud and elder abuse. A light lunch will be provided.
Euchre Card Players are meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9 and Thursday, Feb. 23.
Foot care with Carol Meyer is scheduled for 11 a.m. Feb. 16. Please call and schedule an appointment.
Celebrating Seniors Gathering will take place at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22. Phyllis Beastrom will have a Power Point presentation on the early history of Esdaile and some of the history of Eidsvold Lutheran Church, which celebrated its 150th anniversary in October. Cake and ice cream will be provided following the presentation.
