Come and join us at the Ellsworth Senior Center for great conversations, interesting programs, fun activities and more. We are located at 229 W. Main St., Ellsworth and provide a friendly, safe atmosphere where adults age 50 and above can engage in social, educational and recreational activities. We also have for you to take home an assortment of puzzles to put together and DVD’s to watch.
Every Monday and Friday 1-4 p.m., the pool players meet at the Senior Center to shoot pool. The second Monday of the month, students from the high school join the pool players for an intergenerational session. Come and join them.
At 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, join us for a presentation from history enthusiast Cale Graeber, “Ten Crucial Days: American Victories at Trenton and Princeton.” This engaging talk explores key moments of the American Revolution and connects to the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States. Graeber hosts a podcast focused on the people and events that shaped our nation’s founding. Lunch will be served provided by the Ellsworth Senior Center and the Friends of the Library.
From 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12 and Feb. 26, join the Euchre players for Euchre.
At 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18 (note time change), CJ will present a wellness topic followed by group exercises to help maintain balance and strength held at Country Fit, 273 N. Morse St.
At 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, come play Brain Health Bingo. Learn about your brain as you play this bingo. More information on this next week!
