Ellsworth Senior Center jumps into a new year!

The Ellsworth Senior Center would like to invite all senior citizens age 50 and greater to the following events to be held at the senior center:

Come and join the Pool Players from 1-4 p.m. every Monday and Friday. 

The Ellsworth Senior Center will be closed Wednesday, Christmas Day and Wednesday, New Year’s Day Jan. 1, 2025.

Euchre Card Players are meeting from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26. Beginners are welcome and encouraged to come.

Katrina will be providing Foot Care for a fee on Tuesday, Dec. 31 (eight-week) and Tuesday, Jan. 7 (six-week) beginning at 8:30 a.m. Please call the Senior Center for more information or to schedule an appointment.

Game Day is happening 1-3 p.m. Jan. 7. The first Tuesday of the month we will be gathering for fun and group games.

Discovering Together Tuesday will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14. “Steamboats on the Great River” is the topic. Prescott native, Dallas Eggers, joins us to share his vast knowledge of the history of steam boating on the Mississippi along with a collection of historical photos. A light lunch provided by Ellsworth Senior Center and the Friends of the Ellsworth Public Library will be served following the program.

Our Balanced Wellness Presentation with CJ Young will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15. CJ will bring along her Tanita computer to read our personal Body Composition Readings following her presentation. We will also be doing some group exercises to help maintain our balance and strength.

Celebrating Seniors Gathering will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29. We will be entertained by the Ellsworth Senior High Jazz choir. Cake and ice cream will be served following the performance.
