The Ellsworth Senior Center has moved a short distance to English Lutheran Church, the brick church at 229 W. Main St. We plan to serve you and all seniors from this new location. Come check out our larger, bright space, with windows and a large parking lot!
From Main Street, turn on Piety Street, go a short distance, enter the church parking area, turn right and follow the sign that says Main Entrance which takes you to the parking lot between the building and Piety Street. Enter through the double doors which are at ground level – no more ramp! We hope you will join us at our new location!
The Ellsworth Senior Center would like to invite all senior citizens age 50 and greater to the following events to be held at the senior center:
Come and join the Pool Players from 1-3 p.m. every Monday and Friday.
Euchre Card Players are meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12 and Thursday, Sept. 26. Beginners are welcome and encouraged to come.
The Ellsworth Senior Center is currently planning an outing to the Octagon House in Hudson on Sept. 13. We will be meeting at the Senior Center at 12:15 p.m. and departing via carpooling at 12:25 p.m. The cost of the trip is $12 and includes admission to the house, History Shoppe, and the lovely and varied gardens along the property. Registration is due by Sept. 12 in order to allow ample time to line up drivers. Call us at 715-273-5873 for more information.
Pierce County ADRC invites all to a Connect & Thrive Kick-off Event on Sunday, Sept. 15 at the Seyforth Building on the Pierce County Fairgrounds in Ellsworth. Join us for fun and socializing as we kick off Pierce County Connect & Thrive, a program that brings together all generations for a stronger, more connected community. Live music, refreshments, door prizes and resource booths. Bring the whole family.

Celebrating Seniors Gathering will be at held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24 at Mahn Family Funeral and Cremation Services, Ellsworth Chapel, 587 Lucas Lane. There will be a presentation on funeral planning followed by a tour of their new facility. We will end the event with a complimentary meal provided by Mahn Family Funeral and Cremation Services.

The Ellsworth Senior Center is once again planning an outing to Treasure Island for a Branson Country Christmas “Special Tribute to Veterans” featuring the Ozark Jubilee, noon show on Thursday, Nov. 7. We will be meeting at the Senior Center to carpool. The group cost is $55 and includes lunch, show, taxes and tips and must be prepaid by Oct. 21. Call us at 715-273-5873 for more information.
