Join us at the Ellsworth Senior Center for great conversations, interesting programs, fun activities and more. We have some fun, family activities coming up this month and home school children are invited to join us. We are located in the lower level of English Lutheran Church, 229 W. Main St. If the door is locked, ring the black buzzer and someone will come and greet you.

Tuesday, Oct. 13: At 11 a.m., Pati Kachel, a well-known, professional Twin Cities storyteller, will be bringing Laura Ingalls Wilder to life in an authentic, costumed, first person portrayal. Hear Laura’s story of pioneering across the Midwest, her perseverance and becoming a best-selling author at age 68 of the Little House books. Vintage artifacts and family photographs will enhance this family-friendly presentation. Bring your friends and share this information with home schooled children. The public is welcome. Lunch will be served following the program.

Euchre: Thursdays, Oct. 8 and 22. You are welcome to join us.

Leather Crafts: On Oct. 27, we’re having another intergenerational day with kids – home schooled children are invited to participate. Donna Constant will help us all make leather crafts – bookmark, key fob, coasters. We’ll also be decorating cookies – actually painting with a stencil and edible paint. You’ll each be able to decorate a cookie as well.  Come and join us!

Footcare with Katrina: Appointments available all day Oct. 27. Call 715-821-5847.

Annual Meeting: At 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, Ellsworth Senior Center.

Pool Players: Meet from 1-4 p.m. Mondays and Fridays. They invite others to join them.

It’s also membership month so we’d love to have you join the Ellsworth Senior Citizens Center.

You are welcome to pick up our monthly calendar and puzzles to put together.

If you need more information, call 715-821-5847.
