The roster is kind of thin for Ellsworth boys tennis this spring, but first-year oach Brad Baker likes his team’s work’s ethic.
“We only have four boys out this year and only three of them will be playing varsity,” he said. “We have a good attitude. We’re willing to work and improve.”
Baker said his team goal is to put as much effort as possible into every match and try to get better.
The Panthers lost to New Richmond 7-0 Thursday.
Playing varsity for Ellsworth are: No. 1 singles – Leo Bergner.
No 3 singles – Joe Schmalstig.
No. 4 singles – Lander Levers.
