ELMWOOD – Elmwood Legion Post 207 received word from the Village of Elmwood that it was in need of some new flags and poles, and asked the Post to order them for the village when placing its next Veteran Memorial Park order.
After significant research, Legion Post 207 decided on purchasing heavy-duty polyester double-sided flags due to their longevity in adverse weather, along with stainless steel ball bearing tangle-free poles.
At the American Legion Post 207 February meeting, the members voted to use the proceeds from the UFO Days Henry Military Service Rifle raffle to purchase the flags and poles for donation to the Village of Elmwood.
