Take a walk, enjoy the outdoors, and read a story with the Ellsworth Public Library's annual Bilingual StoryWalk®, available Aug. 1–16.
This year's featured book is “Blue Sky White Stars” by Sarvinder Naberhaus, presented in English and Spanish. This beautifully illustrated picture book is a stirring poetic tribute to the beauty and wonder of America's symbols, history and landscapes as our nation celebrates the 250th anniversary of independence.
The StoryWalk® begins along the walkway at the Pierce County Office Building (412 W. Kinne St., Ellsworth) and continues to the Pierce County Fairgrounds, allowing visitors to enjoy the story one page at a time as they stroll the path.
The StoryWalk® combines reading, physical activity, and family fun, making it a wonderful activity for children, families, and readers of all ages. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy the story at their own pace while exploring the trail.
The StoryWalk® is free and open to the public.
