ELLSWORTH – The Ellsworth Public Library is proud to partner with the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Pierce County (ADRC) to offer a remarkable new learning opportunity designed specifically to support the well-being of older adults. The Boost Your Brain and Memory class, a unique four-week series, will be held on Wednesdays—Jan. 14 and 21, and Feb. 11 and 18, 2026—from 1-2:30 p.m. in the library’s Meeting Room.

This program stands out as an important and meaningful resource for Ellsworth-area residents. At a time when many older adults are seeking ways to stay mentally sharp, socially connected, and confidently independent, Boost Your Brain and Memory provides strategies backed by research and presented in an engaging, accessible format. Unlike traditional “brain games,” this program takes a holistic approach, helping participants develop healthy habits that support long-term brain health while also teaching practical skills to enhance memory performance in daily life.

Participants will engage in guided discussions, view educational videos, and work through thoughtfully designed activities using provided workbooks. The supportive, small-group environment encourages learning, conversation, and connection—making the class not only beneficial, but enjoyable. As an added benefit, the collaboration between the Library and ADRC ensures the program is offered at no cost to participants, underscoring both organizations’ commitment to empowering older adults in Pierce County.

Registration is required, as space is limited. Community members are encouraged to reserve their spot early.
