Spend a day exploring one of the Twin Cities' most popular attractions with the Ellsworth Public Library!

The library is sponsoring a free bus trip to the Como Park Zoo & Conservatory on Wednesday, Aug. 5. Community members of all ages are invited to enjoy a fun-filled day of animals, beautiful gardens and family activities. There is no cost to participate, but advance registration is required as seating is limited.

The bus will depart from the Ellsworth Public Library at 9 a.m., arriving at the zoo around 10 a.m. Participants will have approximately four hours to explore the zoo, conservatory, gardens, and family attractions before departing at 2 p.m. The bus is expected to return to the library by 3 p.m.

Visitors are welcome to bring a picnic lunch or purchase food at the Zobota Café or one of the food carts located throughout the zoo. Those wishing to enjoy optional attractions may want to bring spending money for giraffe feeding, the carousel, or the gift shop. Strollers are welcome.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
