In the Makerspace: Explore Fiber Arts in February - weekly crafts and projects, pop-up crafts, coloring pages and board games

Join our annual Frozen (although we aren't very frozen this year!) February Fun Winter Adventures Reading Challenge Feb. 1-29. Track your reading, complete activities, earn a free book and free pizza coupon from The Pizza Arcade, as well as chances to win prizes. Stop by the library for a reading log or use our online Beanstack tracker.

Visit the library or our website, to find out about how you can take the 1000 Hours Outside challenge or create your own goals to be more mindful and intentional about increasing your time outdoors and boost your mental health.

Join our 2024 Mystery Quilt, now through March. Want to try it, but new to quilting? Come work with our experienced quilt mentors in the Makerspace from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesdays; 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 10 or 4-6 p.m. Feb. 21 and 28. Bring your kids and they can help make a quilt square!..

Storytime - Fridays at 10:10 a.m. (no storytime Feb. 16) and Tuesday, Feb. 27 at 10:10 a.m. Our Feb. 23 storytime features special guest Kaitlin Knutson DDS for Dental Health Month. (Storytime Playspace)

Feb. 13 at 11 a.m. - Discover Together Tuesday - Animals of the St. Croix River Valley with Carpenter Nature Center (and their live animal ambassadors) will be at the Ellsworth Senior Center. All ages welcome.

Feb. 15 from 1-3 p.m. - St. Croix Valley Job Center Employment Assistance available monthly (Study Room)

Feb. 15 at 6:30 p.m. - Community Book Club (Meeting Room)

Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. - Robotics Exploration, registration recommended (Makerspace)

Feb. 19 from 4-5 p.m.: Therapy Dog Maggie, call the library for an appointment

Feb. 20 - LEGO at the Library from 3:30-5:30 p.m. (Makerspace)

Feb. 22 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Full Moon Party (re-scheduled from January) with crafts, activities, telescope viewing of the moon outside the library; all ages welcome

Feb. 27 at 6 p.m. Teen Meet-up: outdoor winter games and freshly made waffles and hot chocolate outside the library

Feb. 28 - Ellsworth Community School District All-School Art Show begins
