ELLSWORTH – The Federal Foam Technologies Employee Committee in Ellsworth conducted a car parking fundraiser during the Pierce County Fair this year.
FFT has been doing this since 2009 and every year it seems to be a bigger success. Each year FFT donates a portion of the proceeds to the local Pierce County Food Pantry. FFT is happy to announce that this year it was able to donate $1,000. Every dollar donated will buy $7 worth of food for the food pantry. Food Pantry Executive Director Heidi Albarado was on hand to accept the donation.
We are very fortunate that our company allows us to do this each year. We get some family members and friends together to help us out with this event and we always have a lot of fun doing it. We cannot express our appreciation enough to each and every person who helps out with this. It is so rewarding to be able to give a portion to the local food pantry, as right now, there is an abundant need for the food pantries around the country.
