ELLSWORTH – The hunt is on! The Ellsworth Public Library invites the community to take part in its Unearth A Story! Medallion Hunt, beginning Monday, Aug. 3.
Participants will search for a hidden medallion using daily clues released by the library. A new clue will be posted each morning at 10 a.m. and clues will continue each day until the medallion is found.
The first person or team to locate the hidden medallion and bring it to the library will win $100 in Ellsworth Bucks.
The Medallion Hunt is a fun way for families, friends, and community members to explore Ellsworth while celebrating the library's 2026 Summer Reading Program, Unearth A Story!
Clues will be available at the Ellsworth Public Library beginning at 10 a.m. each day of the hunt. The contest ends as soon as the medallion is found.
