RED WING, Minn. – First Choice Clinic will hold a community- wide 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run on Saturday, July 31 at Bay Point Park in Red Wing, Minn. The event will help raise awareness of the free and confidential services offered to the community by First Choice Clinic in Red Wing and Cannon Falls.

Additionally, funds will be raised to help support First Choice Clinic and its mission of educating and empowering the community to making healthy life-affirming choices. This family-friendly event opens at 7:30 a.m. for registration check in and the silent auction. The adult run is at 8 a.m. The Kid’s Fun Run starts at 9 a.m. Other free entertainment includes a bouncy house, face painting and temporary tattoos for the kids, music, and refreshments. All children’s activities are free. “This is our 15th year anniversary. The 5K event is a great opportunity for the community to learn more about the services First Choice Clinic offers and the positive impact we are having in Red Wing, Cannon Falls and area communities,” said Rose Korabek, executive director for First Choice Clinic.
