The folks at the Pierce County Food Pantry in Ellsworth recently picked up 875 pounds of ground venison from Pierce Co. Meats in Ellsworth. Normal years may see 40 deer donated, but this year there were 87. Recently, over 450 pounds of ground venison was given out at the local pantry, so they were very excited to restock the freezers with the premium ground venison. “The folks at Pierce Co. Meats are awesome! The pictures show the van loaded and the great people who helped load it up,” Dave Johnson said.
