On Saturday, Jan. 6 the Community Arts Base (CAB) held an art supply give away in the Gallery Art’s House at 127 N. Main St., River Falls. Ten local artists “cleaned out their closets.” The event ran from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The artists and patrons were so happy, it has been decided that the event will be repeated later this year.
Art’s House is closed for the month of January and will open in February with a show called TRASH TRANSFORMED with art made from found objects. If you are an artist who has made art from found objects, you might want to show them at the gallery during this show. The deadline to enter is Jan. 15.
