Superintendent Dr. Glenn Webb described the Elmwood High School Class of 2025 as a class who academically rose to the challenge. As juniors, they had the highest ACT scores out of the 39-school CESA District and the eighth highest in Wisconsin.

According to teacher Bailey Beyer, Salutatorian Jaycob Reitz is one of the best students he’s ever taught, taking every advanced class possible and graduating with 19 college credits. Reitz said he’s been hit with many realizations during his last days in school as they head into the real world.

Teacher Mike Birtzer was chosen as the staff speaker by the Elmwood Class of 2025. He said the class is a dynamic group, one that he waffled with wanting to throw them out the door to keeping them forever. He reminded students that they’re defined not by what they achieve, but how they do it and how they get through challenges in life.
