On Friday, Nov. 7, St. Joseph Parish School students dressed up as Catholic Saints in celebration of All Saints Day. They processed into mass in their costumes while singing "When The Saints Go Marching In."

On Nov. 11, students honored our local veterans by performing a musical production for them. Veterans were also honored by going to the microphone to introduce themselves and share how they served our country.

St. Joe’s had a great Family Fun Night on Nov. 21. Family Fun Nights happen every few months at St. Joe’s. Families come from 5:30-7 p.m. to eat, play and do games and activities. Community members with elementary-aged children (birth-fifth grade) are welcome to attend. The next one is Friday, Jan. 9 and it will be a Glow Party!

This month the fourth graders went to Willow River State Park to learn about animal adaptations in the wild.

Thursday, Nov. 20 was Principal's Day and Principal Chris Magee was flooded with treats and artistic drawings. They showed their appreciation to him that day as the "Best Principal Ever!”

The Kindergarteners had their first opportunity to speak publicly when they recited nursery rhymes to their school community. They did wonderfully!

Meet Kalvin Abbott, a budding journalist who decided to start a school newspaper called “The Weekly Bugle.” Thank you, Kalvin, for using your God-given talents to show your creativity at St. Joseph Parish School.
