PRESCOTT – Hopefully our more mild winter weather continues so everyone can be out and about. Senior Gathering Place is open to all seniors age 55 and older, no membership fees either.
Thursday, Feb. 8: Come hear Cheryl Braun, an adult protection worker from Pierce County. She will speak to us about elder abuse.
Tuesday, Feb. 14: Pickleball is from 9-10:15 a.m. in the school gym. Enter via Door 5, Senior Gathering Place. Also on Tuesday, you can play games of your choice. Many are available such as 5 Crowns, Scrabble, Mexican dominoes and more. Bring your friends.
Wednesday, Feb. 15: Join your friends for cards, Euchre, Bridge, and Canasta.
Thursday, Feb. 16: We will view “Harriet,” the Harriet Tubman story, to honor Black History Month.
Senior Gathering Place is open to all ages 55 years and older. We are located at 1220 St. Croix St., Door 5. Follow the signs across from the football field and enter at Door 5. Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-3:30 p.m. If the school is closed due to inclement weather, Gathering Place will be closed too.
