PRESCOTT – We hope all our friends had a great holiday break without too much snow shoveling. Now that school is back in session, the Senior Gathering Place is also open. We started off 2023 with our first Tuesday lunch on Jan. 3. If you missed it, mark your new 2023 calendars with lunch at the Gathering Place on the first Tuesday of each month at noon. Then you can join us each month!

Wednesday, Jan. 4: From 12:30-3:30 p.m., join us for cards. Bring your friends and play 500, Euchre, Bridge or game of your choice.

Thursday, Jan. 5: Join us for “How to Thursday.” Learn to play Canasta! Several Gathering Place members have played in the past, so all learning levels are welcome as we try our hand at an old fun game.

Friday, Jan. 6: Memory Cafe will meet from 10-11:30 a.m. at the First National Bank Community Room (lower level).

Tuesday, Jan. 10: Join your friends for a game of pickleball in the Malone Intermediate School gym at 9 a.m. Later, from 1-3:30 p.m. participate in games of your choice; many options available, 5 Crowns, Mexican Dominoes, Scrabble. Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-3:30 p.m. If the school is closed due to inclement weather, Gathering Place will be closed too.
