George had a strong work ethic and brought energy and enthusiasm to every task. Even after his abilities were limited by dementia, he tried to help in any way he could.

George was a man of strong faith. His Bible was worn, and his life was proof of his love for God. George and Elva enjoyed hosting fellowship gatherings in their home for many years. Countless friends and family cherish their memory of the twinkle in George’s eye, his attentive way of listening, and his deep care for them.

In 2021, George and Elva were unable to maintain their own home. They moved in with Daryl and Vicki, where they enjoyed care, hospitality, and visits from family and friends. The family wishes to thank the many caregivers who supported George during that time, including St. Croix Hospice.
