PRESCOTT – The Prescott Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to recognize the winner of the 2023 Governor’s Tourism - Rising Star Award, Megan Langer. This statewide award is presented annually by the Governor and recognizes individuals who are new to the industry who have shown leadership, commitment, and passion for Wisconsin tourism.

Please join the Prescott Chamber at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 23 at the Cove Guest House (154 Broad St., Prescott) to recognize Langer and her team for all they have done for Prescott and the tourism industry.

Langer is the owner and operator of multiple hotels and boutique locations in Prescott:

• A six room boutique hotel, The Port of Prescott opened in April 2021
• The Cove Guest House opened in late 2022 can accommodate 24 overnight guests in four suites, and 40 daytime guests who can rent out the Club House for activities and events
• And the newly renovated Harbor Hotel is open for business, even while suites are remodeled one room at a time to reflect a "vintage road trip." Each of the 22 suites will be named after a state to take you on a cross country journey - the Arizona, the Missouri, and the Virginia are completed with 19 more to go.
• Most recently, in continuing her effort to provide full-service packages to her clients, Langer announced the launch of “Prescott Luxury Transport” to Prescott – a shuttle service that will provide transportation options to those staying, hosting, or seeking to enjoy events in town.

Prescott Area Chamber of Commerce supports, promotes and connects Prescott area businesses. The Prescott Area Chamber is a business advocate with close to 100 members in the Prescott, Ellsworth, River Falls, Hastings, and surrounding areas.

The Governor’s Tourism Awards recognize individuals and businesses in the travel and tourism industry who turn big dreams into exceptional results and leave a lasting impact on Wisconsin tourism. Presented at the Governor's Dinner & Awards Celebration, the awards highlight and celebrate all the success of the past year. The awards are supported by the Wisconsin Tourism Council and nominations can come from industry peers or yourself.
