PRESCOTT - At 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12, Kelly Johnson and Jean Halverson will present their book: "Grandma and Grandpa's Great Loop Adventure." Bring your whole family to this presentation, which is part of the Prescott Area Historical Society's Speaker Series. Johnson boated the local rivers for almost four decades.
After cruising most of America’s Great Loop with her husband, she decided to write a children’s book about their boat adventures. The story, meant for all ages, came to life with Halverson’s unique and creative illustrations. Join them at the Prescott History Center in downtown Prescott, as they share geography, history, and wildlife tidbits from their book.
