The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal accident that occurred Saturday night in Trenton Township.
Anthony Wadsworth, 32, of Hager City, died from injuries suffered when his vehicle left Hwy. 63 and drove into a ravine near 210th Avenue, according to the sheriff’s department.
Wadsworth reportedly was driving his 2007 Dodge pickup truck northbound on Hwy. 63 at 7:50 p.m. The vehicle drove off the roadway into a wooded ravine. Wadsworth was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s office.
The sheriff’s office was assisted on the scene by the Wisconsin State Patrol and the Ellsworth Fire Department.
