BAY CITY – The Hiawatha Valley EAA Chapter 1518 will host its 45th annual pancake breakfast at the Red Wing Regional Airport from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, Aug. 7.

The local pilots of the Red Wing Airport have been hosting this delicious breakfast each summer since 1977. The event is in conjunction with the Red Wing River City Days activities.

This is a fly-in / drive-in breakfast with numerous aircraft and classic cars on display. Families can walk the flight line and observe the planes that fly in for the morning. The pedal planes will also be back for the junior pilots to practice their piloting skills. The menu includes all you can eat Sturdiwheat pancakes, little smokie sausages, coffee, juice and milk.

Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under. Please join us for a great breakfast on Sunday, Aug. 7 and see what is cooking at your local airport.

The Red Wing Regional Airport is located at W7145 148th Ave., Bay City.
