It’s a Sad Day in America

It is truly a sad day of our Great Nation when people are no longer allowed to disagree without retaliation. I experienced this on Halloween night when some progressive activists set out to cowardly disagree by removing my 12 ft. high Trump sign on highway 65 in Beldenville, Wisconsin. When I first came to this wonderful country from my native Germany many years ago I thought I could use my 1st amendment right and express my political opinion.

Apparently I was wrong. It saddens me to think of how far we have come towards total socialism when a handful of progressive leaning people refuse to agree to disagree in a civil manner. These folks think there is no room for another idea but their own and will take whatever steps possible to spread fear and hostility everywhere they go.

This kind of activity reminds me of Germany in the 1930s when progressive activists spread fear throughout the country to the point of murder if anyone did not conform to the 'new world order' being promoted at that sad time. My family grew up in that atmosphere and I fear we are going down the same road in our country today.

Sowing fear and intimidation is how it all starts. It is time to wake up and stand up America, before it is too late.

“The World is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing” (Albert Einstein)
